That is an absolutely beautiful picture.  It makes me so ready for the warmer weather.  We have a huge botanical garden about 20 minutes away and I love strolling through it in the spring.  Thanks for sharing!

They are pretty roses. Are they considered the knock out roses? I can't wait to start working in the yards. It is great therapy!

Jenn - You're welcome!  I'm also looking forward to Spring and all the beautiful flowers.  I'm half a mile from Planting Fields Arboretum and they have so many beautiful gardens.  It's a treat to visit.

Kathy - I'm glad you like them.  Somebody gave me that title and it got stuck.  I took a client yesterday to see some houses and two of the homeowners said "You are the Rose Lady."  I smilingly said "Yes".

Debbie - They are gorgeous roses.  They are not the KnockOut roses.  These are called Floribundas meaning roses that bloom in clusters.  I also find gardening a great therapy and can't wait to get my hands dirty.

Rosalinda,

Very pretty and unusual roses - roses take a special knack to grow. I see you have it. :)

Steve - It certainly is different.  Believe me if I tell you that anybody can grow beautiful roses.  There are just so many "easy roses" out there now.  Forget about hybrid teas.  They are a little difficult.

Rosalinda- My mother grows all types of roses in her backyard so I am always looking for new, beautiful varieties. These are gorgeous!

Rasalinda - I love roses, and I can't recall ever seeing such a rose as this.  You have put me into a "I've gotta have one of those" moods!

What a beautiful rose and how I long for spring and summer..I live in the North Eastern part of the country and the flowers do not bloom for several more months..

Ilyce - These are very beautiful roses, slightly fragrant and will grow to about 4 ft.

Myrl - Some nurseries carry them.  I think I got mine from a mail order nursery called Chamblee Roses.

Morgan - This rose was named for an animated cartoon character in the '30s.

Hannah - I believe we are both on the same Hardiness Zone.  I'm on Zone 7 bordering 6A.  My first rose bloom comes in the first week of June, although I have other flowers starting in late March.  I can't wait for spring.

Hi Rosalinda—My mom was a Rose Lady too! She made gowing the old fashioned tea roses look so easy. I'm going to look for the mail order nursery catalogue you mentioned and se if it's still available. These are beautiful and very unusual... would love to have them in my garden. Thank you!

Linda - You're welcome.  It's nice to know your mom is also a Rose Lady.  I also grow the old fashioned roses.  They tend to get so large.  I think I have about 15 of that type in my garden.  I love them because they are all very fragrant.

Rosalinda - I have a green thumb but it turns brown when it comes to roses.  Beautiful!  Thanks!

Bruce & Mary - If you have a green thumb, you can grow beautiful roses.  You have to start with easy ones and there are plenty out there. Try KnockOut roses for starter.  Thanks for dropping by.
