MARINER'S WALK TOWNHOUSES IN HISTORIC OYSTER BAY

Oyster Bay is a picturesque small village on a peninsula with tree lined residential streets, historic landmarks and beautiful waterfront area. The downtown area which the residents lovingly call the Hamlet has small shops, restaurants, hair salons, hardware stores, few banks, houses of worship of different denominations and several museums. The residential downtown area is lined with colonial and victorian houses.

On entering Oyster Bay downtown area, on South Street, we have the newly constructed townhouses called Mariner's Walk.  These are fabulous townhouses, beautifully designed within walking distance to town.

The remaining units are listed as 2 BRs, 2.5 Baths with a price range of $619,990 to $830,000.  Right now, there are 16 townhouses left for sale at Mariner's Walk in Oyster Bay.  For buyers who love the atmosphere of small village near the beach with the design reminiscent of the walk up townhouses in New York City, this is the place to be.

Oyster Bay is a town that has lots to offer to their residents.  Nearby is Oyster Bay Cove where Sagamore Hill, the home of President Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States is located. His graveyard is close by near the intersection of Cove Rd and Cove Neck Rd.

For cultural events, there is the Tilles Center in Brookville where performances rival Lincoln Center without the New York traffic.  On the other side of town is Planting Fields Arboretum, a New York State Park where there is a vast collection of trees and several gardens for your pleasure. In the summer time, there are music concerts galore.

Oyster Bay residents enjoy the amenities of a beautiful park with the nearby Waterfront Center. The water at the Long Island Sound is a big playground to those with watercraft from little sunfish to big yacht.

Oyster Bay will remain a nice place to live, thanks to the commitment of local residents who care a lot about their community as evidenced in their tremendous participation in community organizations in town. Civic and fraternal organizations abound.

Gary - Thanks for dropping by.  I love Oyster Bay.  It is a very charming town and we are so proud that one of our local residents, Teddy Roosevelt, is one of our great presidents.
