It does make you wonder, doesn't it.
Rosalinda,
There's a lot about ancient construction we don't understand. :)
Steve
Rosalinda - There are creations by early mankind that continue to amaze me to this day! One of the wonders to me, is how we had pyramids in Egypt and in South American countries, built by different cultures, when the two weren't in communication or contact with one another?
Makes you wonder how, huh. Lots of people I guess. But I bet is was neat to see!
It's always amazed me how they made it so perfect. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Erby - That's why those ancient buildings are so interesting and really wonderful.
Steve - They didn't even have our modern equipments and yet they built the most wonderful creations there were.
Myrl - I wonder that myself. They must have the brightest mind in the universe for all the things they had accomplished.
Chris - It was amazing! That Coliseum in Rome is still standing and yet we have modern day Sport Coliseums that had to be demolished and rebuilt because they were deteriorating.
Rob - It is so perfect but what amazes me is how do they get them up there and what keep them in place. Those rocks were not cemented. They were just positioned perfectly so they did not fall apart.
