Beautiful photo... what a serene place this must be. A great place to clear the head.

Nice pic, that looks like a very peaceful place to contemplate the day.

Margo - It sure is a great place just to take a stroll and get the cobwebs off your head.

Sussie - There is something comforting about Japanese garden.  Maybe the simplicity of the design has a calming effect on us.

Steve - The garden is a gift to the community where most of the plant really came from Japan.

Patricia - The place is so serene.  I was lucky to see the tea ceremony performed with a bamboo flute playing in the background.  How coincidental to see you with the flute!

Russel - Surprising enough, I love Japanese Garden too.  I tried to incorporate it once in my garden at one section at the other side of the rose garden.

Steve,

Thanks.  I'm flattered.  I want to add that years ago, the Cherry Blossom trees in Washington, DC was stored there first before they were shipped to Washington, DC.  I'm doing a post on Mill Neck, NY and will mention it in there.

Alexandra - We are very lucky to have this Japanese garden in our midst.  My garden club helps support it.  As a gardener, I appreciate the beauty of bonsai.  We had bonsai experts come to our meetings for their interesting topics.
