For people who are downsizing and want to live in Oyster Bay but do not want the maintenance of a house, there are plenty of choices in the village of Oyster Bay. Buying condos, co-ops or townhouses in Oyster Bay are the best choices. There are five areas in Oyster Bay where you can buy condos, co-ops or townhouses. Right now, there are 17 condos/co-ops/townhouses for sale in Oyster Bay.
Going north on Route 106, just as you reach the village of Oyster Bay, turn left on Lexington Ave., Oyster Bay. The second driveway on your left from Hess Gas Station is the Lexington Estates which are co-ops. At Lexington Estates in Oyster Bay, there are 4 co-ops for sale. Price ranges from $149,000 for 1 BR, 1 Bath to $259,000 for a 2 BRs, 1 Bath co-ops. These co-ops were built in the 60s and are housed in six buildings from A to F.
Landmark Colony is few feet down the road on Lexington Ave., Oyster Bay and they are condos. We only have 2 units for sale at Landmark Colony, one for $599,000 and another one for $625,000 for a 2 BRs, 2.5 Baths condo. These condos were built in 1982. In the center of this development is a Queen Anne's style home called Derby Estate which was once the home of Ethel Roosevelt Derby, the younger daughter of President Theodore Roosevelt.
Further down the road is Top of the Harbour. Here we have co-ops with entrances at Lexington Ave and Mill River Rd in Oyster Bay. Year ago, these are regular apartments then they turned them into co-ops. There are 3 co-ops for sale at Top of the Harbor, all of them with 1 BR, 1 Bath. Prices range from $265,000 to $299,000. These co-ops were built in the 70s.
On South Street, we have the newly constructed townhouses called Mariners' Walk. Prices on Mariners' Walk in Oyster Bay range from $549,900 to $649,000. They are all 2 BRs and 2.5 Baths. There are 4 townhouses left for sale at Mariners' Walk in Oyster Bay right now. Mariners' Walk townhouses are all new constructions on three floors. Elevator is an option. There is also a clubhouse for homeowners' use.
On Berry Hill Rd, we have Fieldstone which is homeowner association. At Fieldstone in Oyster Bay, there is one townhouse for sale right now, priced at $1,269,000. This townhouse was built in 1995.
