Rosalinda, I love tulips but we don't have many in Houston. Our ground is too warm so they have to be planted every year. Well usually too warm but that would not have been the case this last winter.
Marchel - I also love tulips and I buy the perennial kind so they come back every year. The weather is just too crazy lately. We had 92 degrees today but then it will go back down to 60s again in a couple of days.
Rosalinda, those are such beautiful tulips. I espcially love the striped ones.
Patricia - I love striped ones too because they make great impact. People notice them right away.
Rosalinda, don't the blooming flowers make you feel like singing? They sure cheer me up after the winter we've had!
Yes, yes, yes! Welcome spring indeed! I'm completely over cold weather and ready for warm days by the pool!
Rosalinda,
Wow, what a nice arrangement of tulips. So many and different colors also. Won't be long before those roses are ready. :)
Steve
Rosalinda, isn't it almost miraculous to see these vivid flowers in full color after the winter we just went through!
Maria - There is nothing like flowers to cheer me up any time especially after this dreary winter.
Carissa - It's not even spring weather we are having today and yesterday. It's summer weather. We had 92 degrees yesterday and upper 80's today. Although they forecast 60's and 50's again starting tomorrow.
Steve - I have the garden orchestrated so I have blooms starting now till December. The roses are all leafing out. Enjoy spring!
Myrl - It's wonderful how Mother Nature works. It does not matter how cold winter is, come spring everything come back to life.
What a delightful array of colors, shapes and sizes =) It definitely looks like spring!
Red and striped tulips attract attention from passers by in front of the house. People love them.
Tulips are beautiful! I don't have them here because in the south we don't have enough cold and we need to replant every year or 2. My favorite part of visiting London in April was seeing the masses of tulips in the public gardens.
Paul & Diane - I love tulips and I have them all over my yard. I even have them in my rose beds.
