In Honor of the Long Island Board of REALTORS 100th Anniversary Celebration, Realtors from Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties will be holding the Ultimate OPEN HOUSE Weekend Event on April 10th and 11th, 2010. Over 270 offices across Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens have registered to participate in the first OPEN HOUSE weekend for April 10th and 11th. To show my homeowners that my office is committed to assist them to a successful sale of their home, I am one of those agents who are participating in this initiative.

To promote both the OPEN HOUSE event and LIBOR's 100th Anniversary, there will be ads running all week in newspapers including Newsday and the Queens Courier, and commercial time on Cablevision and Verizon Fios news channels. It will also be advertised on radio at WBAB, WALK-FM, and on WBLI. The OPEN HOUSE weekend ad will provide potential home buyers with an opportunity to view homes throughout their targeted communities and will encourage buyers who are thinking of buying a home to do so now before the April 30th Tax Credit Expires. If buyers wait too long, interest rates could climb and make the home of their dreams less affordable."
The New York State Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS are also supporting this initiative.
