Saturday, February 12th- OB HISTORICAL SOCIETY EXHIBITION OPENING- THE ROOSEVELTS NEXT DOOR: PORTRAITS OF DEVOTION, revealing the lives of the Oyster Bay Roosevelts who were not politicians, but were influential in building the U.S. For the first time, on exhibit will be the private family collection of James Alfred Roosevelt, detailing the family's humanitarian support for the Union soldiers in the Civil War. Also on exhibit will be the dramatic portraits of Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln by the internationally renowned artist Dan Christoffel.
